Geosystems in marine construction

Marine construction has recently seen the development of the Geotube® and Geocontainer® geosynthetic systems. These systems are produced out of woven geosynthetic tubes filled with sand. They can be used to construct bases or cores for marine structures like dams and dikes. It is an easy way to make use of locally available sand and install large scale systems with steep slopes under water.
