
The IGS UK Chapter is represented on a number of industry related committees which provides the UK Chapter various platforms within the geosynthetics sector and wider civil engineering community to voice its opinions and provide assistance. Scope: Under the direction of SPSC, is responsible for standards in the field of geotextile, geosynthetic barriers and related products and for the UK input into CEN/TC189 and ISO/TC221 (See below).
